The OFFICE of the US Trade Representative (USTR) announced Tuesday that 352 items from China will be exempted from tariffs, including certain types of bicycle parts, electric motors, machinery, chemicals, seafood and duffel bags.
Refused to restore exemptions for 197 products, including four-wheeled off-road vehicles from mainland China. Nearly 150 dealers selling all-terrain vehicles made by Zhejiang Chunfeng Power Co. supported the exemption, but Minnesota-based Polaris opposed approval.
