Follow Amazon’s lead! Walmart, Target and Best Buy are also offering fall sales!

YCD News — In an effort to capture peak-season traffic, a number of U.S. e-commerce platforms will hold promotions in October. Following Amazon’s announcement on Tuesday that it will host its second annual “Prime Big Deal Days” sale on Oct. 10-11, Walmart, Target and Best Buy all announced on Wednesday that they will launch their own sales to kick off the holiday season early. All three e-commerce platforms’ fall sales overlap with Amazon’s.

Walmart

Recently, Walmart said it will hold a “Walmart Deals – Holiday Kickoff” promotion from Oct. 9 to 12, offering thousands of holiday gifts in categories such as electronics, home, fashion and toys.

Walmart says that during the event, customers will be able to purchase a variety of discounted items on its website. In addition, it will offer personalized recommendations and curated shopping features.

Members will be able to purchase discounted merchandise in-store and on Target’s website every day through December 24th (throughout the holiday season).

The retailer says its holiday assortment for 2023 includes more than 10,000 new items from its own brands, such as Good & Gather and Threshold, as well as new products from other brands and more than 1,000 new toys.

Best Buy

On October 1, Best Buy will kick off the first wave of its Holiday Sale, which runs for one month. Throughout the month of October, Plus and Total tier members of the Totaltech annual membership program have exclusive access to thousands of deals and discounts.
