Get a head start on Black Friday! Amazon is hosting a “Holiday Beauty Tour” sale!

YCD News — Amazon is hosting its third annual Holiday Beauty Haul promotion, which begins October 23rd and runs for two weeks through November 5th.

During the event, Amazon is offering exclusive deals from a variety of beauty brands, including Ahava, Chi, essie, Farmacy Beauty, Foreo, IT Cosmetics, and more, across categories such as skincare, hair care, makeup, grooming and shaving, and fragrance.

Amazon has also partnered with brands to offer “Beauty Coupons” to help consumers save money. Users need to go to the Beauty Coupons page, browse and save the coupon. When the user adds an item, the coupon will automatically show up in the shopping cart.

To drive sales, Amazon will host a live event on November 2nd. Amazon has also invited Natalie Negrotti, a well-known “Internet celebrity,” to attend the event and provide consumers with a selection of products in categories such as skincare, hair care, perfume and nail care.

YCD learned that Amazon first launched the first “Holiday Beauty Haul” in October 2021 to capture Black Friday traffic in advance. The e-commerce giant debuted a live shopping session at last year’s “Holiday Beauty Haul.” “Unlike Prime Big Deal Days, Holiday Beauty Haul is targeted at all users, not just Prime members.

Amazon has been making a push into the beauty space, the report said. Amazon began selling beauty products in 2000, starting with mass-market products and gradually adding high-priced brands. In recent years, Amazon has introduced several new features for beauty users, including a virtual makeup-testing experience with artificial intelligence (AI)-based augmented reality (AR) technology powered by ModiFace.

In 2021, Amazon also announced the opening of its first hair salon in London’s trendy Spitafields district, thus expanding its presence in the beauty sector to brick-and-mortar stores. Amazon said at the time that it would be testing “the latest industry technologies,” including a virtual hairdressing experience that would allow customers to see how a new hair color or haircut would look before changing it.
