Walmart released an announcement announcing: With several enhancements to self-service offerings for Marketplace sellers, Walmart Connect enhances the search advertising platform and products to make it easier for sellers to run ad campaigns and give sellers a premium product placement.
Search Ads Become Walmart Sponsored Brands
We’ve renamed Search Brand Amplifier (the most visible top-of-page ad placement on search pages) to Sponsored Brands. It’s part of a larger effort to rebrand Walmart Search Ads to Sponsored Search to open up opportunities for future products and create clear connections between product sets.
Branding across all demand channels
Sponsored Brands is now available to self-service vendors and eligible marketplace brand owners registered with the Walmart Brand Portal. Sellers can access their own branding campaigns through our self-service platform, the Walmart Ad Center, or through one of our platform partners. We’re excited to expand access to larger and more diverse businesses large and small to help them accelerate sales in time for the holidays.
Walmart Advertising Center Enhancements
We are constantly evolving our self-service platform to make it more intuitive and easier for advertisers to use and achieve their goals. We’ve enhanced the Walmart Ad Center so advertisers can increase brand awareness and inspire product discovery. For example, we’ve simplified navigation and added step-by-step guides to help launch Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands campaigns easily—even for first-time advertisers.
