YCD learned that, according to foreign media reports, on October 25, Amazon announced that it would allow users to use Venmo to pay when shopping. The payment option is available on the Amazon app and website amazon.com starting Tuesday, and will expand to all users in the US ahead of Black Friday next month.
According to the report, Venmo will bring Amazon users a convenient, simple and secure payment experience. At the same time as the launch of Venmo, Amazon will also provide Venmo users with an exclusive store for them to buy holiday gifts.
YCD operations found paying with Venmo simple and hassle-free. Users need to first select “Add Venmo Account” under “Select Payment Method” on the Amazon payment page, and then perform identity verification, and then they can choose Venmo to pay at checkout. Users can also set Venmo as the default payment method if desired.
